Dr Rob Wakefield is the proud new owner of Norfolk Village Dental. Originally from the United Kingdom Rob has been qualified for over 20 years. He is committed to the care of his patients and enjoys mentoring new graduates. Rob endeavours to keep abreast of all new and exciting techniques in dentistry.
He has almost finished his Masters degree in Aesthetic dentistry to further enhance his skills for the benefit of his patients and also does Orthodontics so can help anyone achieve the straight and healthy smile that they desire.
He is married with 2 children is a keen skier, he enjoys all aspects of the outdoor life that Australia offers

Joanne Wakefield
Practice Manager
She left dental assisting to pursue a career in general nursing and qualified from the university of Bradford as a registered nurse with a BSc in Health professional studies/ Leading and Managing in Healthcare. She worked for many years as a senior nurse in cardio-thoracic surgery and cardiology and managed a thirty two bedded ward, before leaving in 2008 to manage a large 5 chair dental practice in the UK. She moved to Australia with her husband Rob and two teenage children in 2012. She is passionate about maintaining high standards within any health care setting and is interested in teaching and training.
She is currently completing a Diploma in Practice Management and has begun the practice accreditation process for Anzac Avenue Dental. Out of work Jo loves socialising with friends, foreign travel and skiing and looking after their horses and dogs. She loves the outdoor lifestyle that Queensland has to offer and enjoys hiking and seeing new places.

Dr Kavin Kumar graduated from University of Queensland in Brisbane. He has a very caring and gentle chair side manor that works well in helping patients of all ages get the treatment that they require. Kavin enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has an interest in overall health and wellbeing of patients. Outside of dentistry Kavin is currently studying Medicine and enjoys travelling all over the world and spending time with his wife.
